The GBC will again offer a free-of-charge Marketing Forum to all IMAPS 2004
attendees who wish to participate. The Marketing Forum will be held on
Wednesday afternoon, November 17, 2004, at the Long Beach Convention Center,
Long Beach, CA.
2004 has shaped up to be year of broad
based growth. All market segments appear to be in growth mode
and profits
are now rising.
But how long will it last – through 2005 only or longer?
Which market segments will sustain through the next downturn? While
there is overall growth, how is that growth skewed regionally?
What is the impact of outsourcing not only on the diminishing manufacturing
resources regionally but on product design infrastructure? Will
China’s rapid growth be sustained and who is poised to capitalize
from it? Are there any “killer apps” driving growth?
Is today’s global buyer more conscious about quality and
delivery or price? The answers to these and more questions will
be discussed.
This session will help clarify the global and regional differences
in the state of the microelectronics and packaging industry. Key
market and supply chain areas will be reviewed.
Speakers will discuss their analysis and insights into various
current and emerging market areas of interest to both current and
prospective IMAPS members. The Forum will feature five presentations
with a panel discussion at the end that will allow for audience
participation in this not to be missed event!
